# Summary

Phoenix Arena is a NFT play-to-earn gaming project. Character NFTs serve two functions:

1. **PFP NFTs**
2. **in-game items**

NFTs have additional utility through the in-game economy and earning Phoenix arenas native Wari token. PFP NFTs can be staked. In-game item NFTs can be used to build your character, battle in the arena, rise the ranks and receive rewards depending on your position in the arena leaderboards. 

Use the **WARI** tokens you receive to play, obtain more in-game items, character NFTs at a discounted price, and influence the future developments of the project.
